WB 10th Results 2025: More than 86% students clear Bengal board Madhyamik exams

A high 86.56 per cent out of the total 9,69,425 candidates cleared this year’s Madhaymik examination for class 10, the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) announced on Friday.

Sixty-six candidates feature among the top 10 positions, WBBSE president Ramanuj Ganguly told reporters here.

Purba Medinipur, Kalimpong and Kolkata were among the top three districts with the highest percentage of successful candidates.

Among the total candidates, the number of girls was 5,43,544, and 4,22,766 or 84.39 per cent of them were successful, Ganguly said.

“It is heartening to note that the number of female candidates is on the rise,” he said.

Adrita Sarkar from Raiganj Coronation High School (Boys) in Uttar Dinajpur district occupied the top rank, scoring 696 marks and 99.43 per cent.

Anubhav Biswas and Soumya Pal jointly stood second with 694 marks.

While Biswas is a student of Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Vidyamandir of Malda, Pal studied at Vishnupur High School in Bankura.

With 693 marks, Ishani Chakraborty of Kotulpur Sarojbasini Girls School, Bankura, occupied the third spot, the WBBSE said.

She also emerged as the topper among female candidates in this year’s secondary exams.

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and State Education Minister Bratya Basu congratulated the students.

“My heartfelt congratulations to all the students who passed this year’s Madhyamik exams! I hope you will be even more successful in the future. On this memorable day in your life, I also extend my heartfelt greetings to your parents, guardians and teachers. Their support and guidance have made this success possible,” Banerjee said in a post on X.

She told those who couldn’t do well not to be discouraged and keep trying and success will come.

Basu said, “My sincere congratulations to the successful students. I hope you will be successful in all aspects of life, make Bengal shine, and achieve great things in the future.”

When approached by reporters, Adrita said he studied eight or nine hours a day while preparing for the exam.

“I studied whenever I liked; may be eight-nine hours in a day on average,” he said, flanked by his beaming parents.

Adrit said he is keen to pursue medical science in future after Class 12.

The Class 10 board exams were held from February 10 to 22.

CUET UG Admit Card 2025 for May 26-June 3 exam dates have been released. The download link is given here. 

National Testing Agency, NTA has released CUET UG Admit Card 2025 for May 26-June 3 exam dates. Candidates who will appear for Common University Entrance Test can download the hall ticket through the official website of CUET UG at cuet.nta.nic.in.

The official notice reads, “In continuation of the Public Notice dated 07 May 2025, 10 May 2025 and 15 May 2025, the National Testing Agency (NTA) is releasing the admit card of CUET (UG) – 2025 on 23.05.2025, for the exam days scheduled from 26 May 2025 to 03 June 2025. Exam Centre City and Exam Schedule has been shared through Advance Exam City Intimation Slip on 07 May 2025.”

All appearing candidates can download the admit card using their application number and password. To download the hall ticket, candidates can follow the steps given below.

CUET UG Admit Card 2025: How to download 

1. Visit the official website of CUET UG at cuet.nta.nic.in.

2. Click on CUET UG Admit Card 2025 link available on the home page.

3. A new page will open where candidates will have to enter the login details.

4. Click on submit and your admit card will be displayed.

5. Check the admit card and download the page.

6. Keep a hard copy of the same for further need.

TSBIE IPASE May Exam 2025: Second language paper held today, 113853 candidates appeared

Telangana Board of Intermediate Education has conducted TSBIE IPASE May Exam 2025 on May 22 for Second language paper. The second language paper 1 was held for 1st year students and second language paper 2 was held for 2nd year students.

A total of 93,152 candidates had registered for 1st year second language paper 1 out of which 87,797 candidates appeared and 5355 candidates were absent. For 2nd year, a total of 28,855 candidates have registered for the exam out of which 26,056 candidates appeared for the exam and 2,799 candidates were absent.

Observers were sent to Bhadradri, Khmamm, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Yadadri, Hanamkonda, Warangal, Mahabubabad, Jangaon, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Jagtial, Siricilla, Mahabubnagar, Wanaparthy, Jogulamba, Nagarkurnool, Rangareddy and Hyderabad Districts from Board to the Examination centers and they stated that the examinations had conducted smoothly and peacefully for both the years.

The TS Inter results was announced on April 22, 2025. In 1st year, a total of 4,88,430 students appeared for the examination (general and vocational streams combined). Of them, 3,22,191 passed. The pass percentage is 65.96 per cent. In 2nd year, a total of 5,08,582 students wrote the IPE March exam (general and vocational combined). Of them, 3.33,908 passed. The pass percentage is 65.65 per cent.

RBSE 12th Result 2025 Date: The Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan will announce Class 12 final exam results on Thursday, May 22, 2025.

The RBSE has called a press conference a 5 PM, following which the marks will be available online at rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in. RBSE 12th result 2024 live updates.

As informed by the board, the RBSE Class 12 Results will be announced by Education Minister Madan Dilawar. The results for all streams – Science, Commerce, and Arts will be declared together. 

This year, a total of 8,93,616 students had registered for the examination. Of these, 2, 73, 984 students registered in Science, 28, 250 in Commerce, 5,87, 475 in Arts and 3907 in Senior Upadhyay, the board added. 

The Rajasthan Class 12 board exam was conducted from March 6 to April 4. Exams for Children with Special Needs (CWSN) were from March 1 to 4. The regular exam was held from 8:30 am to 11:45 pm and CWSN exam was from 8:30 am to 12:45 pm.

How to check BSER Class 12 result

  1. Go to rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in.
  2. Open the Class 12th Science, Arts or Commerce result page, as required.
  3. Provide your login details.
  4. Submit it and check the Class 12 marks.

Last year, RBSE 12th Arts result was announced in June. A total of 652444 students registered for the exam out of whom 640239 appeared and 616745 students passed the examination. The pass percentage of Class 12 Arts was 96.33 per cent.

The Class 12 Science and Commerce results were announced in May. The overall pass percentage for Commerce was 96.60 per cent and the pass percentage in the Science stream was 95.65 per cent.

Meanwhile, the results of RBSE Class 10 exams 2025 will be declared soon, board secretary Kailash Chandra Sharma informed.
