It’s party time, because the Housefull 5 gang is ready to drive away your monotony. The teaser of the Housefull 5 song Qayamat is out today. The song is a celebration of love and merriment. The teaser opens with the loaded star cast shaking a leg on a cruise. With the blue sky and the sea at the backdrop, the men are seen dressed in white while the women are dressed in silver glittery outfits. It’s not a mere invitation to the party as the Qayamat is lurking around the corner. 

Quite contrary to the vibes of the song, the teaser ends with a glimpse of a murder.

Sharing the teaser, Akshay Kumar wrote, “The ultimate pool party is sailing towards you! This cruise isn’t calm, it’s Qayamat!”

The fifth instalment of the comedy franchise boasts of a long cast – Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Jacqueliene Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri, Fardeen Khan, Shreyas Talpade, Chitrangda Singh, Dino Morea, Chunky Panday, Johnny Lever, Nana Patekar, Jackie Shroff, Nikitin Dheer, Soundarya Sharma, Ranjeet, and Sanjay Dutt. 

The song has been sung by Neeraj Shridhar and Shruti Dhasmana.

Housefull 5 is directed by Tarun Mansukhani and bankrolled by Sajid Nadiadwala’s Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. 

In December last year, Akshay Kumar, while filming an action scene, got injured on the sets of Housefull 5. 

The Housefull franchise kicked off in 2010 with its first film featuring Deepika Padukone, Lara Dutta, Arjun Rampal, Boman Irani and the late Jiah Khan. 

Following its success, Housefull 2 came out in 2012, Housefull 3 in 2016, and Housefull 4 in 2019 – each instalment upping the comedy and chaos with a new set of stars and stories.

In April this year, Blanco appeared on the Table Manners with Jessie and Lennie Ware podcast, and shared his wedding plans, “We haven’t figured out anything in our wedding yet. The only thing I’ve said straight up, as a part of the food, is that I want Jewish cook and food writer Jake Cohen to do the challah. That’s all I care about. He makes the best challah I’ve ever had.”

On another occasion, Selena also spoke about her decision to skip the first dance at her wedding. The Emilia Perez star went on to share that she might be doing a special dance with her maternal grandfather.

Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco started seeing each other in 2023, years after being collaborators for several songs. 

In December last year, the couple got engaged. “Forever begins now,” Selena captioned her post alongside pictures of her engagement ring.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next titled Love & War is one of the most anticipated films of 2026. Rightfully so, with a stellar cast featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal in the lead.

The latest updates on the film have been revealed by a close source to News18, regarding the intense body transformation that Ranbir and Vicky underwent for the film.

The source shared, “Ranbir Kapoor has lost 12 kgs while Vicky Kaushal has lost 15 kgs for their characters in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War. This extensive physical transformation of both stars is evident enough to light up the screens for the audiences.” 

Earlier this year, Ranbir expressed how excited he was about working with Sanjay Leela Bhansali again, at the International Film Festival Of India (IFFI).

Ranbir said, “Love & War is something which is every actor’s dream. To work with brilliant actors like Alia and Vicky and to be directed by the master – Sanjay Leela Bhansali. I worked with him 17 years ago. To work with him again, I can say this with so much clarity that I haven’t met a human being who works so hard, who understands characters, emotions, music, Indian culture, and Indian value system, as much as Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Just to be on his set, is tiring. It is long. The process can be a little daunting but eventually, as an artist, it is so satisfying. He really nurtures art. As actors, it’s truly been amazing so far.”

Earlier this year, The Hollywood Reporter had learnt that there might be delays in the release of Love & War which was initially scheduled for a March 2026 release. However, the speculations were later denied. Further updates are awaited.
