At the recently held Kuberaa song launch event in Mumbai, actor Jim Sarbh opened up about one of the biggest challenges he faced while working on the film — learning Telugu from scratch. Known for his powerful performances and attention to detail, Jim shared how he took the time to not just memorise his lines, but truly understand every single word.

Jim Sarbh reveals he learnt Telugu for Kuberaa: “That took a lot of time and effort”

Jim shared “Well, the challenge, of course, was learning the lines because I don’t speak Telugu. That took a lot of time and effort, and I don’t like the idea of saying a sentence without knowing what each individual word means.”

He explained how the structure and flow of the Telugu language is very different from English, which made the process even more interesting and demanding.

“In English, you might say, ‘How many are there?’ but in Telugu, it could be like, ‘Many are there, how?’ or something similar. So, where do you put the ‘how’? At the end of the sentence, at the top of the sentence? That took some time and effort to get right.”

Produced by Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao under the banners of Sri Venkateswara Cinemas LLP and Amigos Creations Pvt Ltd, Kuberaa is co-produced by Vipul Agarwal and Manish Vasisth. Mugafi presents the film in North India and also leads its distribution across the region.

Directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Sekhar Kammula, Kuberaa stars Nagarjuna Akkineni, Dhanush, Rashmika Mandanna, Jim Sarbh, and Dalip Tahil. With music by Devi Sri Prasad (DSP), the film will release in five languages — Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam.

Kuberaa is set to release in theatres worldwide on June 20, 2025.

Jackson Wang meets Hrithik Roshan in Mumbai; says “Hope I’m in Krrish 4”

In a candid conversation with Hindustan Times, Jackson shared that this trip is unlike his last visit. “I am here as a person—to feel the city, meet the locals, and just go around being a human being, seeing with my own eyes and experiencing the traditional culture, food, sport and the people,” he said, adding with a smile, “Though I have been here two days, I feel I have been here for three years. The nightlife is amazing as well.”

Mumbai’s hospitality extended to B-Town royalty, as actor Hrithik Roshan hosted a special party for Jackson. Photos from the event lit up the internet, including one shared by filmmaker Rakesh Roshan featuring Jackson, Hrithik, and Sunaina Roshan. Clad in coordinated black outfits, Hrithik and Jackson looked like they were ready to headline an action film together.

“Jackson welcome and God bless!” Rakesh Roshan captioned the Instagram post, fueling excitement among fans—and even sparking whispers of a possible collaboration between Jackson and the Roshans.

When asked about the party and Hrithik, Jackson had nothing but admiration: “He is a champ himself. A super legendary icon. I’ve heard he is preparing for Krrish 4. Hopefully I will be in Krrish 4, where I come out and die right away,” he joked.

Speaking of Krrish 4, a few months back, it was confirmed that the fourth installment of the franchise will be directed by Hrithik. Apart from this, there is no update on the upcoming project. Meanwhile, Hrithik is currently awaiting the release of his next, War 2, which is scheduled to release on August 14, 2025.
